Did I always know I wanted to be wedding photographer? Yes!…No…Kind of… Hear me out…

I was born and raised in Debica, a small town in Poland. Ever since I can remember I have had a love for cameras and photography. As I come from a large family, weddings were very frequent. I remember as a young boy being fascinated by wedding photographers capturing beautiful images; encapsulating a moment in time.

Throughout my teenage years and young adulthood I would photograph events for family and friends until finally I got my big break! After my own wedding I showed my portfolio to our wedding photographer who liked my work so much he asked me to be a second shooter at his next wedding…

and as they say, the rest is history …

My signature style is a mix of storytelling, documentary and natural portraits. The way I look at photography has evolved over the years and will continue to do so. My goal as a photographer is for you to feel the beautiful nostalgia of one of the best days of your life by simply looking at the pictures of your special day. I believe the best images are those that retain their strength and impact over the years, regardless of the number of times they are viewed.

Camera gear- now for the technical bit!

it is the photographer, not the camera , that is the instrument
— Ansel Adams

Ansel Adams was absolutely correct. Of course it’s true…the quality of the camera and lens is crucial and because I am a self confessed camera and lens geek I have to talk about this subject…just for a second…or two…

While I won’t bore you with the details of my favourite camera (Canon R6!) or lens (just like my children I can’t possibly have a favourite!). However what you will be interested to know is that I will arrive on time with my camera, back up camera, lenses and lights!

When possible I also like to utilise my DJI Mavic 2 Pro Drone which is perfect for outside group pictures or couple portraits from a higher vantage point.

Now. Why do I mention this? It’s only to reassure you of the quality of the equipment I use.
